Terms of Use
1. Agreement
DiagramLens ("the App") is published by VTEK Solutions Limited ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"), which governs all apps distributed through the Mac App Store. If these Terms and the Standard EULA conflict, the Standard EULA prevails.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the App on any Mac that you own or control, as permitted by the Mac App Store usage rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile or redistribute the App except where the law expressly allows it.
3. Free trial and purchase
- The App is free to download. Every feature is available during a free 1-day trial that starts when you choose "Start 1-Day Free Trial". The trial lasts 24 hours and is available once per Apple Account.
- When the trial ends, the App stops opening, searching and exporting drawings until you buy the Full Version, a one-time In-App Purchase. There is no subscription and you are never charged automatically.
- The price is shown in the App and on the App Store in your local currency. The Full Version supports Family Sharing.
- All purchases are made through Apple, which handles payment, receipts and refunds. Refund requests are made to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If a purchase is refunded or revoked, the Full Version is no longer licensed and the App will lock.
- If you reinstall the App or use it on another Mac, use "Restore Purchases" with the same Apple Account.
4. What the App does and does not do
The App is a read-only viewer. It never modifies the files you open. Rendering is intended to be faithful to the original drawing, but some features of the Microsoft Visio® file formats are not supported and fonts that are not installed on your Mac are substituted; the App's "Faithful rendering" claim is not a guarantee of pixel-exact reproduction for every file.
5. Your content
You keep all rights to the drawings you open. The App processes them only on your Mac and never transmits them. You are responsible for having the right to open and use any file you load into the App.
6. Updates and availability
We may update the App to fix problems, add features or meet platform requirements, and we may stop offering it at any time. Updates are delivered through the Mac App Store.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or that every Visio file will render correctly.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Trademarks
Microsoft and Visio are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies. DiagramLens is an independent product and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Microsoft. Apple, Mac and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. DiagramLens and its icon are our trademarks.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers in other countries keep the protection of mandatory local law.
